First Time in Thailand

It was our first trip to Bangkok. Having already traveled to other countries, my Thailand trip so far has been my best and most favorite trip of all. The moment we arrived at Suvarnabhumi Airport, we were both amazed by the sheer size and design of the airport.

Bangkok has a lot of shopping malls, weekend and night markets. The amount of traffic is something that you must see with your very own eyes. Instead of taking taxis, we decided to travel like the locals do around the city, by taking the bus, sky train (BTS), Chao Phraya River boats and the subway (MRT).

The price for food and travel is very cheap compared to what we are accustomed to, living in the United States. During our two-week trip to Thailand, we visited the following places:
